The “In Memory of Penka Kumicharska” mini-handball tournament has come to an end. It was in fact the second edition of the memorial tournament – the first was held at the end of 2024 at 90 SU “Gen. José de San Martín” school – but the first with CSKA Mladost as the main organiser and host.
Thank you to all the teams that took part: CSKA Mladost, NSA (with two teams), Lyulin 2019, Pirin’64 (Gotse Delchev), Inter (Blagoevgrad) and Sportist Kremikovtsi 2018.
The participants received many prizes, and we are grateful to all the co-organisers who helped make this festive day one the children will remember for a long time. Among them are Ilonka Stoycheva, Olya Georgieva, Lyubozar Terziyski and his family, Vili Modova, Mariyana Litova and, of course, the family of Penka Kumicharska. We hope we have not missed anyone.
During the award ceremony, seven special awards were presented in honour of distinguished people from the history of handball at CSKA who are no longer with us:

The awards were presented by relatives of the people honoured and by our co-organisers.
For the memorial tournament, a small historical gallery was set up with photos of some of the most successful CSKA teams over the years. The gallery will soon be expanded with authentic team kits from the past.
Thank you once again to everyone who helped make this event happen. We are already looking forward to the next edition of the tournament!
